Like Father, Like Son, (and mom?!)

I’m the type of person who would rather be cold and use blankets or bundles of clothing to keep myself warm, than it be hot and try to figure out how to keep myself cool. In Holland it would rain 2-3 days a week and each time it did I felt like I was in heaven. There is just nothing more miserable to me than being hot and sweaty and not being able to keep cool. That said, Tyler feels the same way.

Tyler : Dude, Businessman, Money Maker

Tyler enjoys many things in life. But like his dad, he seems to have a toy of the week. Lately, it’s been phones. In this first video, Tyler is sitting in a cat carrier(new and unused) gabbing away. It reminds me of a Chinese business executive – fast talking, hard to understand, no questions asked, but gets the job done.

Kaitlyn is in the drool/stick-my-feet-in-my-mouth stage which means she keeps herself pretty occupied. Tyler enjoys keeping her happy as well so we look forward to when they will be able to play together. That day can’t seem to come soon enough.

Tyler turned 2

On February 10th, Tyler turned 2 years old! We counted this birthday as his first official birthday because he actually knew what was happening. Well, he understood he was receiving cake, presents, and lots of attention that is. He’s still picking up on lots of words and phrases so we have to be careful. Ok, I Jake, have to be careful although I’m not sure he knows who I am anymore. I am no longer “dahdah” but rather “dude”. Yup. The best part about it is he’s the only 2 year old who calls his dad dude so there is never any confusion in public places.
